CAREER: Unifying Neuroscience and Biomechanics Paradimes for Modeling Brain and Muscle Responses to Mecnahical Impacts

In this study, we are going to provide a computational and theoretical framework to investigate brain and muscle response to mechanical impacts with the purpose of creating unprecedented scientific knowledge on multiscale brain injury mechanisms and associated functional impacts.    

The main objective of this study is to develop a Brain-Muscle-Interaction Framework (BMI-Frame) to assess brain and muscle response to mechanical impacts by investigating and characterizing the effect of mechanical impacts on brain neuronal signals.
